Classic boat models are represented with excellence here. As the owner of The Classic Preservation Coalition --- doing what I do --- I take extreme pride in true quality. The classic boat models represented in this section are so beautifully detailed and realistic, that I believe them to be of the highest possible quality. Please understand that these boat models are not from kits or available as kits. Each boat model is hand made in the USA from the best materials available. The boat models, although not radio controlled, are each powered by an electric motor. Additionally, the bow light is functional. Each of these boat models represents approximately 75 hours of painstakingly, detail-oriented work. The boat models measure approximately 16" in length, by 5-1/2" to 6" in width (with the exception of the "Rocket", which measures 27" in length, 10" in width), and each is a labor of love. Display them in your home or office, or use them as running models at the beach, pond, or pool.

The hulls of these boat models are built up from mahogany, glued and nailed together with stainless steel nails. The decks are one solid piece of 3/8 inch thick mahogany cut to shape, sanded and scribed to duplicate as close as possible the real classic boats they are modeled after. Each of the boat models is then finish-sanded, painted or stained and varnished to a high luster. They are then wired, stamped with a hull number and date, signed, water-tested, polished, and carefully boxed for delivery.

It is important to note that each of the boat models (excepting the "Rocket")are patterned after an existing antique Chris-Craft, Hacker, or Gar Wood. The bow lights are made to match the style used in the 1930's and 1940's, as is the highly chrome-plated windshield. All of the fittings are either polished stainless steel or chromed brass. A deck-mounted switch turns on the motor and the bow light. A varnished mahogany stand is included.

The maker of these boat models comes from a long family line of classic boat restorers. He personally spent approximately 18 years restoring these old, magnificent works of art. He is also an engineer who designs most of the blueprints used to create the intricately detailed hardware used on the boat models. And, as the amazing quality of these boat models attests to, he is also an artist.

Become an owner of a unique piece of marine art. Order one of these prized boat models today, and rest assured that there will never be another exactly like it. Delivery time is approximately 8 weeks after receipt of payment for your order. You will see thumbnail pictures below of each of the boat models currently available. Clicking on the thumbnail of your choice will take you to a page with a larger photo of that model. On that page will be the price of the model and directions for placing an order for it. PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE MODELS CANNOT SHIP TO P.O. BOXES.

I think that this is quality in its rarest form. Own one of them, and you will agree.
